Your paycheck shouldn't disappear like a
Snapchat message.
💸
We built a community for people whose financial plan keeps being:
"I'll lock in next month."
💸
Get roasted, get accountability, and finally stop financially surviving on vibes.
Scroll

You ever get paid and think:

Okay. This is the month I finally lock in.

You're making smarter decisions. You've got a plan. New era. Fresh start.

Then a few days later you check your account and immediately start mentally replaying every purchase like you're reviewing security footage.

Not because you bought a yacht.

Just because somehow your money keeps disappearing with an unbelievable amount of confidence.

And after a while, the money isn't even the hardest part.

It's the restarting every Monday part.

The I swear I'm serious this time part.

The quiet feeling that everyone else got the instructions and you somehow missed the update.

Eventually it stops feeling like a money problem.

It starts feeling like maybe it's a you problem.

It's not.
You're not lazy. You're not irresponsible. You're definitely not the only person announcing a financial comeback season every month.

Doing this alone just sucks.

You don't need another spreadsheet.

You don't need someone yelling at you to stop buying coffee.

You just need accountability, momentum, and people who get it.

People in your corner long enough to help you stop financially surviving on vibes.

Nobody wants to be in LowkeyBroke forever.

Seriously.

The goal isn't to financially spiral together for 7 years and become roommates with your bad habits.

The goal is progress.

Maybe right now you're here:
Chat Room 1
Get Your Life Together
"I genuinely need to figure out where my money is going."
Chat Room 2
Take Control
"Okay... I'm not panicking anymore."
Chat Room 3
Make Money
"Cool. Let's grow this thing."
Chat Room 4
Make More Money
"Wait... I might actually be good at this."
Graduation
🎓 LowkeyNotBroke

Not rich. Not perfect.

Just saying yes to plans without doing mental math first.

Opening your banking app without preparing for emotional damage.

Feeling like life stopped being one long financial recovery arc.

Because the goal was never permanent membership.

The goal was getting your life back.

Before you join, a few things:

This is not finance bro court.

Nobody here is going to tell you your $7 coffee is why civilization collapsed.

Nobody is posting alpha male money lectures from a rented Lamborghini.

And nobody gets points for pretending they have it all figured out.

Because honestly?

Most of us got here after saying:

"Okay nah. This month is different."

and then watching our bank account freestyle.
This is for:
  • People trying again.
  • People tired of doing the Monday reset.
  • People who are smart in literally every area except whatever happens when the paycheck hits.
  • People who need accountability without feeling judged.
💸
We roast.
💸
We call each other out.
💸
We celebrate tiny wins that normal people think sound ridiculous.
Because paying a bill on time counts.
Opening your banking app counts.
Not impulse-buying because your day sucked counts.

Nobody here is trying to shame you into changing.

We're just in your corner until your bank account stops feeling like a plot twist written by somebody who hates you.

This is the beginning.

Not one of those "life starts Monday" situations.

A real beginning.

Because after a while, starting over gets exhausting.

Not the money part.

The part where you stare at your account, stare at yourself, and somehow end up disappointed in both.

And honestly?

If you're here, you probably don't need another motivational speech.

You already know what you should be doing.

You don't need more information.

You need people around you long enough to remind you that one bad week doesn't mean you're back at the beginning.

People who get it.

People in your corner.

People who'll still be here after the motivation leaves.

Come build this with us.

Your bank account has had enough character development.

Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 17, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using LowkeyBroke. By completing checkout, creating an account, accessing the website, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use LowkeyBroke.

These Terms include an arbitration agreement and class action waiver. Please review Section 18 carefully.

1. Who We Are

LowkeyBroke LLC (“LowkeyBroke,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the community platform available at lowkeybroke.com and app.lowkeybroke.com. LowkeyBroke is a peer-to-peer accountability community focused on money habits, motivation, discussion, and support.

LowkeyBroke is not a bank, lender, credit repair organization, credit counseling agency, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, therapist, crisis service, or other licensed professional service provider.

2. Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use LowkeyBroke. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may terminate the account and delete the associated information as described in our Privacy Policy.

LowkeyBroke is currently intended for residents of the United States only. We do not knowingly offer or sell memberships to residents of the European Union or United Kingdom. If you access the service from outside the United States, you do so at your own discretion and are responsible for compliance with local law.

3. Accounts and Anonymous Usernames

When you purchase a membership, an account is created using the email address, password, full name, and billing ZIP/postal code you provide at checkout. You will be assigned a randomly generated anonymous username for community participation.

Other community members cannot see your email address, billing name, billing details, or other account information through the community interface. However, anonymity is not guaranteed if you disclose personal information in your messages, if another user infers your identity, if we are required to disclose information by law, or if disclosure is necessary for security, fraud prevention, enforcement, or legal reasons.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

You may update your email address, password, and notification preferences in account settings. If you update your email address, you are responsible for making sure the new address is accurate and accessible.

4. Membership, Subscriptions, and Payment

LowkeyBroke memberships are paid subscriptions billed in 3-month periods at the price displayed at checkout. Your membership automatically renews every 3 months unless you cancel before your renewal date.

By entering your payment information and completing checkout, you authorize LowkeyBroke and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the membership fee, applicable taxes, and any other amounts disclosed at checkout at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Before checkout, we will display the material subscription terms, including the price, billing interval, automatic-renewal nature of the membership, and cancellation method. You agree to review these terms before purchasing.

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Taxes may be calculated and charged based on your billing information and applicable law. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers.

If a payment fails, is reversed, is disputed, or is flagged for suspected fraud, we may suspend or limit your access until the issue is resolved. Chargebacks, payment abuse, suspected fraud, or attempts to evade payment may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing the Stripe Billing Portal through the Manage billing option in the Membership section of the app. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund the current paid period unless required by law or approved by us for a billing error.

If you cancel before your next renewal date, your access continues through the end of your current paid period. After the paid period ends, you may still be able to log in and view limited account screens, but you will not be able to enter community rooms unless you resubscribe.

Deleting your account is different from cancelling your subscription. If you want to stop future charges, you must cancel your subscription. If you delete your account while you have active paid access, access may end immediately or account information may be deleted or de-identified as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Refund Policy

LowkeyBroke memberships are billed in 3-month periods. When you join, you are committing to the full sprint. Except where required by law or where we determine there was a billing error, we do not offer refunds once your membership begins.

If you cancel before your next billing date, your access continues through the end of your current paid period and you will not be charged again.

Banned, suspended, or terminated accounts are not eligible for refunds unless required by law. This includes accounts banned for harassment, scamming, attempting to bypass community guardrails, threatening other members, sharing personal information, payment abuse, or other Terms violations.

If you believe you were charged in error, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after confirmed cancellation, contact support@lowkeybroke.com and we will investigate.

7. Not Financial, Legal, Tax, Medical, Therapy, or Crisis Advice

LowkeyBroke is a peer community platform for discussion, accountability, entertainment, and support. Nothing in LowkeyBroke, including messages from members, prompts, pinned content, emails, notifications, or communications from LowkeyBroke, is financial advice, investment advice, credit repair advice, debt counseling, tax advice, legal advice, medical advice, therapy, crisis counseling, or any other professional service.

We are not licensed financial advisors, registered investment advisors, tax professionals, attorneys, mental health professionals, or credit counselors. Do not rely on LowkeyBroke as a substitute for advice from a qualified licensed professional.

If you are experiencing a medical, mental health, financial, legal, or safety emergency, contact emergency services, a crisis hotline, or a qualified professional immediately.

8. Community Rules and Acceptable Use

By joining LowkeyBroke, you agree to follow the community rules at all times. These rules exist to protect members and maintain a useful environment.

You agree that you will not: send or attempt to send direct messages to other members; post personal information about yourself or others, including real names, contact details, social media handles, addresses, payment information, government identifiers, or employer/school information; share links to external websites or services; spam, solicit, advertise, promote, recruit, or sell any product, service, investment, job, loan, giveaway, scheme, or opportunity; ask for or send money; harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, shame, extort, or personally attack other members; post hate speech or discriminatory content; attempt to scam, defraud, manipulate, or mislead other members; post off-topic content; attempt to bypass, test, manipulate, or evade moderation; impersonate any person or entity; scrape, copy, crawl, reverse engineer, interfere with, or overload the service; upload malicious code; use automated tools without permission; or use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.

Roasting and blunt accountability may be part of the community tone. Personal attacks, targeted harassment, doxxing, hate speech, threats, and abuse are not allowed.

Repeated attempts to post prohibited content may result in account review, message removal, suspension, permanent ban, blocking of associated email addresses or payment methods, and loss of access without refund.

9. Message Moderation and Platform Enforcement

Messages submitted to community rooms may be reviewed by automated moderation systems, deterministic filters, third-party AI moderation tools, and, when necessary, authorized human/admin reviewers before or after posting.

Messages that do not pass moderation may not be published. You may be given an opportunity to revise and resubmit, but we are not required to publish any message.

We may remove, reject, hide, replace with a placeholder, archive, de-rank, or otherwise moderate any content at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe the content violates these Terms, creates risk for the community, or affects platform operations.

We store submitted messages, including messages that were rejected, unpublished, removed, or reported, for security, safety, moderation, fraud prevention, audit, and operational purposes as described in the Privacy Policy. These internal records are not visible to other members, but authorized admins and service providers may process them as needed to operate the service.

Automated moderation may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for what you submit, including personal information you choose to include despite the rules.

10. User Content License

You retain ownership of content you submit to LowkeyBroke, including messages, reports, feedback, reactions, votes, and notes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

By submitting content to LowkeyBroke, you grant LowkeyBroke a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, moderate, remove, preserve, de-identify, analyze, transmit, and otherwise use your content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, enforce, and provide the service.

For content visible to the community, this license includes the right to display your content to other members under your anonymous username or, after account deletion, under a label such as “Deleted Member.”

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content and that your content does not violate these Terms, applicable law, or anyone else’s rights. We do not sell your community content to third parties.

11. Notes

The Notes feature is intended for your private personal use. Notes may be encrypted before leaving your browser as described in the Privacy Policy. If you forget or reset your password, previous encrypted notes may be permanently inaccessible.

Do not use Notes to store information that you cannot afford to lose. We are not responsible for loss of notes, inability to decrypt notes, account loss, browser/device issues, or other data loss except to the extent liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Reports, Feedback, Notifications, and Admin Tools

You may be able to report messages, submit feedback, react to messages, vote to pin messages, receive notifications, and adjust notification preferences. We may use these features to operate the community, enforce rules, improve the product, and send transactional or optional notification emails.

Authorized admins may access admin tools and internal records, including reports, feedback, moderation status, user profiles, subscription status, message records, pin/vote metadata, notification records, and email-delivery records, for legitimate operational, safety, support, billing, and enforcement purposes.

13. DMCA and Intellectual Property

LowkeyBroke respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe content available on LowkeyBroke infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint by emailing dmca@lowkeybroke.com.

Your notice should include: your full legal name and contact information, including your email address; a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed; a description of the content on LowkeyBroke that you believe is infringing, including enough information for us to locate it; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

After receiving a valid copyright complaint, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content, notify the user who posted it, and take any other action we believe is appropriate. We may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly violate intellectual property rights.

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@lowkeybroke.com. Your counter-notice should include enough information for us to identify the removed content, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your physical or electronic signature.

14. Account Suspension, Termination, and Bans

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, if we believe the account violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, harms the community, abuses payments, or affects platform operations.

Grounds for suspension or permanent ban include, but are not limited to: repeated moderation bypass attempts, scamming or attempting to scam members, threats or serious harassment, posting personal information, attempting to contact members off-platform, exploiting the platform, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, impersonation, illegal conduct, or attempts to interfere with the service.

Banned accounts are not eligible for refunds unless required by law. Associated email addresses, account identifiers, devices, IP ranges, and payment methods may be blocked from creating future accounts.

15. Privacy

Your use of LowkeyBroke is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information.

16. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or change any part of the service at any time, including rooms, prompts, features, rules, pricing, membership structure, moderation systems, and third-party providers.

We do not guarantee that the service will be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, network, or operating system.

17. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

LOWKEYBROKE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOWKEYBROKE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST DATA; LOSS OF GOODWILL; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; PERSONAL OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS; USER CONTENT; THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT; OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LOWKEYBROKE IN THE THREE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

18. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Before starting arbitration or a court claim, you agree to first contact us at support@lowkeybroke.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. The notice should describe the dispute and the relief requested.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of LowkeyBroke that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, unless an exception in this section applies.

YOU AND LOWKEYBROKE EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS ARBITRATION, PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING OF ANY KIND.

The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party’s individual claim.

This arbitration agreement does not apply to claims that qualify for small claims court, individual claims for injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized use or abuse of the service, or claims that cannot be arbitrated as a matter of law.

If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must proceed in court and be severed from any arbitration. If any other part of this section is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LowkeyBroke and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your payment disputes or fraud, or your violation of any third-party rights.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent any claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you agree to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this document and may notify you by email, in-app notice, website notice, or other reasonable method.

If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. Your continued use of LowkeyBroke after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the service and cancel your subscription before future renewal charges.

22. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout disclosures, are the entire agreement between you and LowkeyBroke regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or operation of law.

23. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@lowkeybroke.com.

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LowkeyBroke LLC (“LowkeyBroke,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you visit lowkeybroke.com, use app.lowkeybroke.com, purchase a membership, or otherwise interact with LowkeyBroke.

By using LowkeyBroke, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Information We Collect

Account and checkout information. When you create an account or purchase a membership, we may collect your email address, password, full name, billing ZIP/postal code, account identifiers, assigned anonymous username, subscription status, subscription end date, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, cancellation status, ban status, and account creation date. Passwords are handled through Supabase authentication and are not stored by us in raw readable form.

Payment and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe may collect and process payment card information, billing details, tax information, transaction history, invoices, payment status, fraud signals, and related information under Stripe’s own privacy practices. We receive limited payment and subscription information from Stripe so we can manage access, billing, tax, cancellation, invoices, and support.

Community and platform activity. When you use the app, we collect messages you submit to community rooms, including messages that are pending, approved, rejected, removed, unpublished, or reported; room identifiers; timestamps; reply relationships; moderation status and reasons; reactions; pin votes; reports you submit; report reasons; notifications; notification read/archive status; notification preferences; account settings; feedback submissions; and email-delivery records for certain transactional or notification emails.

Notes. If you use the Notes feature, we store encrypted note content, note titles if provided, and note timestamps. Note content is designed to be encrypted before it leaves your browser, as described below. We do not intentionally access or read decrypted note content.

Device, usage, and security information. We may collect IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address or billing ZIP, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URL, current URL, UTM/source parameters, checkout events, login/session data, cookies and similar identifiers, error logs, rate-limit information, security logs, and other diagnostic or analytics data.

Communications. If you contact us, submit feedback, request support, make a privacy request, dispute a charge, or communicate with us by email or other means, we may collect the contents of those communications and related contact information.

Information you choose to disclose. Community rules prohibit posting personal information, contact details, social media handles, payment details, and similar information. If you submit that information anyway, we may process it as part of moderation, safety, security, legal, and enforcement operations.

2. Anonymous Usernames and Community Visibility

When you create an account, you are assigned a randomly generated anonymous username. This username is the primary identifier visible to other members in community rooms.

Other members cannot see your email address, billing name, billing ZIP, payment details, or account profile information through the community interface. However, anonymity is not guaranteed. You may identify yourself through the content you post, another user may infer your identity, or we may disclose information if required by law or necessary for safety, security, payment, fraud prevention, enforcement, or legal reasons.

Approved community messages, reactions, pinned content, and related public activity may be visible to other members under your anonymous username. If your account is deleted, certain community content may remain visible under a label such as “Deleted Member.”

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts; process payments, subscriptions, cancellations, invoices, taxes, failed payments, and fraud checks; provide access to rooms and features; operate community rooms, prompts, notes, notifications, reports, feedback, reactions, and pin votes; moderate content and enforce community rules; prevent scams, abuse, harassment, and misuse; investigate reports and safety issues; provide customer support; send transactional emails, renewal reminders, account notices, password resets, receipts, platform notices, and optional notification emails; debug, analyze, maintain, protect, and improve the service; comply with legal obligations; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Services and Disclosures

We use third-party service providers to operate LowkeyBroke. These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms and privacy practices.

Supabase provides authentication, database, storage, edge functions, and backend infrastructure. Supabase may process account information, profile data, messages, notes ciphertext, reports, notifications, feedback, logs, and other app data needed to operate the service.

Stripe provides payment processing, subscription management, tax/billing support, invoices, payment-method handling, fraud prevention, and billing portal services. Stripe may process your name, email address, billing ZIP/postal code, payment details, transaction details, customer identifiers, subscription information, tax information, fraud signals, and related billing data.

Resend or another email provider may process your email address, message content, delivery metadata, and unsubscribe or preference data to send transactional, account, billing, notification, and service emails.

OpenAI may process message content and related moderation inputs for automated moderation before or after messages are posted. Do not include personal information, sensitive information, or information about others in messages. We do not intentionally send your billing name or email address to OpenAI for moderation, but message content you choose to submit may contain personal information despite our rules.

We use PostHog to understand how visitors use our website, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, diagnose technical issues, and improve the performance and user experience of LowkeyBroke. PostHog may collect information such as pages viewed, referring URLs, current URLs, campaign or UTM parameters, interactions with certain website features, approximate location derived from an IP address, and browser or device information. We do not use PostHog to sell personal information or for third-party targeted advertising. PostHog processes this information according to its own privacy practices.

Cloudflare Turnstile provides bot detection on the checkout form. Turnstile processes limited device and browser data to determine whether the visitor is human. By using the service, you agree to Cloudflare's processing of this data under its Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, legal authorities, payment networks, fraud-prevention services, successor entities in a merger/acquisition/reorganization, or other parties when necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, process transactions, or operate the service.

5. AI and Automated Moderation

Messages submitted to community rooms may be reviewed by automated filters, deterministic rules, third-party AI tools, and authorized human/admin reviewers. Automated moderation may approve, reject, flag, or categorize messages, but it may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Rejected, removed, reported, and unpublished messages may still be stored and reviewed internally for safety, security, audit, fraud prevention, moderation improvement, and enforcement. Other members do not see unpublished internal moderation records.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, financial account numbers, payment details, health information, government IDs, contact information, or personal information about other people in community messages.

6. Notes Encryption

Notes saved in the Notes feature are designed to be encrypted before they leave your browser. The encryption key is derived from your account password using browser-based cryptography. Neither LowkeyBroke nor ordinary database access should be able to read decrypted note content.

If you change your password through account settings, notes may be re-encrypted with the new key. If you reset your password through a forgot-password flow, previous notes may become permanently inaccessible because the old key may no longer be available.

The encrypted data key may be stored in your browser to keep notes accessible across page refreshes. Logging out may clear the key from your device. Do not store information in Notes that you cannot afford to lose.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, secure accounts, prevent abuse, and support checkout. We may also use similar technologies to understand website usage and improve our services. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but disabling technologies that are necessary for the service may prevent certain features from functioning properly. We do not use cookies to sell personal information or for third-party targeted advertising.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, process subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations.

Account profile information is generally retained while your account exists. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify account profile information, including email address and login credentials, subject to limited retention for legal, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, security, backup, and audit purposes.

Billing, invoice, tax, payment, subscription, chargeback, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for the periods required or permitted by law, payment networks, Stripe, accounting requirements, or legitimate business needs.

Community messages may remain visible or internally retained after account deletion, but may be attributed to “Deleted Member” or otherwise de-identified where reasonably appropriate. Rejected, removed, reported, and unpublished messages and moderation/audit records may be retained as needed for safety, security, enforcement, abuse prevention, and legal purposes.

Notes are generally deleted when you delete them or delete your account, subject to backup and technical retention periods. Because note content is encrypted, deletion of keys or account information may make note content permanently unreadable even if encrypted backup copies temporarily remain.

Analytics, security logs, support communications, sent-email records, and aggregated or de-identified information may be retained for legitimate business, security, operational, legal, and compliance purposes. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, authentication systems, row-level security rules, encrypted password handling through authentication providers, and security features provided by our hosting, database, and payment providers.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we discover a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Your Choices and Requests

You may update your email address, password, account settings, and notification preferences in the app where those features are available. You may cancel your subscription in account settings or through the billing portal.

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about your personal information by contacting support@lowkeybroke.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
